The Shaker Hill Pet Resort is looking for a Resort Manager! We are in search of an experienced and positive professional who will treat our guests, and clients, with the highest quality of care!

The position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work 40 hours a week, some weekends and some holidays.  

  

This position is responsible for:  

• Managing the day to day operations of a busy, successful, Pet Resort  

• Promoting and providing exceptional customer service to our clients  

• Working hands on with both the dogs and cats and ensuring their care is top notch 

• Coaching Resort personnel to help them perform at their best  

• Updating and maintaining a reservation database to ensure accuracy  

• Assisting with the hiring and training of new Resort employees as needed  

• Assisting with ongoing facility maintenance  

• Upholding the Core Values of the Pittsfield Veterinary Hospital and Shaker Hill Pet Resort    

Requirements:  

• 3+ Years of working with animals in a professional environment  

• 1+ years of supervisory experience 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
