WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

YOUR ROLE

The Senior Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities with a focus on Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, site materials logistics, and high‑integrity team leadership. This role ensures accurate inventory management, compliant movement of regulated materials, and smooth operational flow across the site. The Senior Lead serves as a hands‑on role model—demonstrating operational excellence, safety, and collaboration through their own actions.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations Leadership

  • Lead daily warehouse activities by providing clear direction, hands‑on support, and a strong example of safety, quality, and accountability.

  • Promote a culture of operational discipline and continuous improvement by modeling expected behaviors and work standards.

  • Coordinate workload, staff assignments, and priorities to meet service level, safety, and compliance requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training programs.

Inventory Control

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and adherence to proper storage and handling requirements.

  • Support GDP, OSHA, CBP, and internal quality standards in all warehouse practices.

  • Participate in investigations related to material discrepancies, inventory issues, or procedural deviations, driving corrective actions.

Site Materials Logistics – Pharma and Biotech

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound material movements, with carriers and third-party logistics providers to optimize delivery performance including raw materials, components, finished goods, and temperature‑controlled items.

  • Ensure timely, accurate staging and delivery of materials to support manufacturing, lab operations, and site functions.

  • Maintain strong communication with procurement, quality, and production teams to prevent material shortages or delays.

  • Monitor material flow, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements to optimize warehouse efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, CBP and international shipping regulations.

FTZ Administration

  • Oversee all FTZ activities including material receipts, admissions, removals, transfers, and documentation.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant FTZ records in accordance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations.

  • Ensure proper execution of FTZ processes including weekly entry filings, inventory maintenance, and zone audits.

  • Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for FTZ inquiries and support internal/external audits
