Sr. Financial Analyst, Global Fleet Management

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support Global Fleet management Function, to deliver accurate, data-based information and analysis. This role will be integral to the Finance team that directly helps secure the company's success. The focus of the Senior financial analyst is to provide a high degree of financial transparency and business modeling across the company and facilitate business decision coordination with all departments.
You Will:
- Consolidate and analyze financial data including budget, forecast and actuals reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations. Including Headcount, OpEx, Capital, within the Fleet management function and support teams.
- Lead month-end financial reporting, longer-term Business Plan development, benchmarking and process analysis.
- Drive and influence the business by partnering with operations and other partners to help shape business case scenarios by delivering financial models and insight to drive down cost of total logistics footprint.
- Partner closely with the operating team to understand financial inputs regarding Fleet management, Pricing, remarketing and forecasting, to provide guidance on operating decisions.
- Lead operating team alignment and decision-making as pertains to financial implications; present data in cohesive reports that provide clear communication and recommendations.
- Develop trusted partnership with the Fleet management leadership team, align on the cost optimization priorities and execution of strategy deliverables
- Lead tracking performance to spend plans, partnering with Operations partners to achieve operational excellence and providing financial transparency to operating results
- Develop and implement weekly and monthly KPIs, tracking performance vs plan. Understand Input drivers and develop detailed insights into what is causing variance. In addition, provide recommendations to address root causes creating variance
- Develop profitability models estimating capital payback periods and rates of return.
- Ad hoc analysis as requested by business partners
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- At least 5- 7 years relevant experience,
- Proven technical, quantitative and critical-thinking skills, high level of independent judgment, initiative and creativity to identify and clearly communicate key performance drivers to senior management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments with a high degree of autonomy and accountability for results
- Demonstrated effective written, interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Established ability using Microsoft Office software with a high proficiency with Excel and Power Point
- Finance analyst experience at an Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier is a huge plus!
- Strong working knowledge of Query tools, SQL, Tableau is a Hugh plus
