About the Role: Maxwell Center: Environmental Services Assistant

Step into a meaningful role as part of the Maxwell Center’s Residential Network—a 24/7 staffed supportive housing program dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to wellness.

The Maxwell Center is a welcoming 10-bed, long-term facility where residents receive compassionate care, including daily living assistance, personal support, and homemaking services. Here, residents thrive through group and recreational therapy activities while engaging with a wide range of outpatient services offered by North Range.

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will work both independently and/or part of a supervised team to perform a full range of custodial tasks. This includes tasks specifically related to the maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine cleaning services effectively and efficiently in and around assigned building(s) including, but not limited to: dust, sanitize, clean glass, sweep, mop, vacuum and stock supplies.
• Discard trash, recyclables, cardboard, paper and unwanted materials.
• Identify and report maintenance and repair needs and problems.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with staff and customers regarding janitorial issues. Effectively communicate with facility services manager and other team members.
• Actively seek work during slow times without instruction from supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• 1 year of related experience preferred
   

Experience:

• No prior experience is required, though it’s preferred.

• Annual TB Testing
