As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and customers, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site-specific protocols regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
