About the role

Description

AMHC is announcing the search for a Residential & Crisis Unit Program Director in Calais.  The Program Director will oversee the operations and strategic direction of the Calais Children’s Residential, Children’s Crisis, and Adult Crisis Units. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to clients in crisis and residential settings. The Program Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage program budgets, and work closely with community partners and stakeholders. In carrying out this responsibility, the Program Director works in coordination with other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), service managers, supervisors, site coordinators, and teams to ensure the understanding of the vision and strategic direction of the agency and alignment of committed resources within defined parameters. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members. 


Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in a relatable field AND a minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health, crisis intervention, or residential care is required.
  • LCSW or LCPC is preferred
  • The ability to demonstrate supervisory leadership, and administrative, program, and community development experience is required.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Maintain the Integrity of the program while overseeing the funding and budgets, service utilization, and service contracts directly related to the program.
  • Provide Respectful program oversight administratively and/or clinically.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a multidisciplinary team that demonstrates Compassion and Collaboration with individuals and families.
  • Demonstrate the Service focus of AMHC while building community engagement and maintaining the Excellence expected of the services.
