Your Career

As a Sr. IT Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering highly scalable services and applications within the IT AI Engineering Team. We use technologies such as Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes and operate on the Google Cloud Platform. You will be expected to get up to speed on existing codebases and participate in architectural discussions where your feedback will shape the future design of the IT AI platform.

• Software developer/engineer/tester
• Design, test, develop, deploy, maintain and improve software assets
• Deliver high-quality code through hands-on development with attention to detail
• Analyze/Research issues and provide solutions to resolve them quickly
• Enjoy mentoring others on development processes
• Actively participate in solution design with leads and architects

Qualifications

Your Experience

• Experience with Python utilizing WSGI frameworks to build fault-tolerant microservice/web architectures
• Experience with Javascript, React, HTML5, CSS3, or SASS
• Experience with Docker or similar container management tooling
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming / Object-Oriented Design Patterns
• Experience delivering quality via thorough unit testing and code reviews
• Experience and familiarity with cloud architecture, development, and deployment practices
• Solid hands-on experience designing and building scalable solutions that leverage relational databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience building RESTful APIs

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI & LLMs into software projects
• Experience with Vector Databases and similarity search
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation and deployment.
