To succeed in this role, you should have at least five to seven years consulting or industrial experience and higher education in Engineering (Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering), Environmental Science, Geology or related earth sciences.

You will join our Data Center team within our Compliance, Strategy and Transactions (CST) Department
We are looking for a new colleague (m/f/d) in our compliance, strategy and transaction department within Ramboll Environment & Health with strong project management skills. Experience with Data Center Development projects or environmental permitting (Bundes-Immissionschutz-Gesetz) would be a strong benefit.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Project management in site due diligence and pre-design phase with environmental background
- Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring that scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the life of a project.
- Preparation and leading of project meetings with different stakeholders
- Covering the environmental part in the design process through design workshops and leading project meetings
- Communicate with and represent the Client’s interest and provide a professional and cost-effective service that meets the Stakeholder’s expectations
- Management of sub-consultants as the project requires, typically this may be quantity surveyors, drilling companies, architects or specialist designers
- Ensuring coordinated and high-quality deliverables from our multidisciplinary teams
- Participation in marketing and business development plans
- Providing mentorship to junior members of staff

- Higher Education in an Engineering or Environmental or related discipline
- Experience in projects for Data Center development projects would be a strong benefit
- Sound knowledge of German environmental legislation
- Experience in a project management role in the construction industry, preferably within a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy would be a strong benefit
- Ideally major project or programme experience.
