Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager (SETA) to join our team at Arlington, Virginia. This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead periodic (monthly or bi-weekly) performer assessments to analyze program, technical and schedule risks; develop risk mitigation strategies; communicate findings to program manager
- Evaluate and guide technical reports, briefings, and other performer communications
- Engage stakeholders and collaborators across the various DoD agencies and services
- Shape and oversee early operational analysis
- Administer programmatic, including development of technical analyses, identification of technology gaps, technical risk management, project cost estimation, technology transfer efforts, as well as supporting technical reviews
- Prepare DARPA work products including presentations and reports
- Attend and organize program reviews/site visits/field tests
- Support further research solicitation development and source selection activities associated with electromagnetic spectrum dominance
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with space system engineering or mission operations
- A background in physics, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working programs at DARPA as a technical and program management support contractor
- Knowledge of DARPA processes and procedures
- Demonstrated program management expertise, preferably as a project lead Expertise and strong interest in the above technical areas
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar areas needed to broadly support program goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
- Experience developing and testing space technology.
- Demonstrated attention to detail Excellent communication skills - both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral
- Self-starter who is willing to both take the lead and provide support in a team role in a complex, fast-paced, cross-disciplinary work environment
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
- Flexible and readily adaptable to change
- Familiarity with DARPA technical, programmatic, and contractual environment
Clearance Requirements:
- Current DoD TS/SCI Clearance required
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
