Your Title: Associate, Licensing Compliance
Your Location: Remote
You Report To: Compliance Director
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm EST
Compensation: $20.67+ plus bonus!
About the Opportunity:
First Help Financial, recently voted “Great Place to Work”, for three years in a row is seeking a highly motivated Licensing Compliance Associate. This is an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join a growing company and compliance team.
The License and Records Coordinator Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for licensing, with attention to essential changes and required actions to ensure compliance across all state and federal requirements. This role will specialize in the Licenses that FHF needs in each state for its lending activities, as well as recordkeeping of legal and corporate confidential records. The License and Records Coordinator will monitor the license status across multiple states and be proactive in renewals as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement.
What you will do:
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead licensing and registration efforts as we scale our operations across multiple states
- Research, complete, and submit applications to regulatory agencies
- Manage and maintain records of existing licenses, quarterly/annual filings, Secretary of State qualifications, surety bonds, and license renewals
- Be the first point of contact for all Licensing and Registration questions
- Responds to miscellaneous time-sensitive requests from regulatory agencies
- Track all legal disputes records
- Manage and track employee training records
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
- Associate Degree and/or relevant experience
- 2+ years experience in licensing or records administration
- Experience with NMLS and communications with regulators a plus
- High degree of attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel
