Exciting Internship Opportunity – Biorepository Operations Intern in Greenfield, IN!

Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.

About the Program:

As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through:

Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time

• Dates of Internship: June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026

• Location: Greenfield, IN

• Hours: Monday - Friday:  7:30am – 4:00pm  

• Compensation:   Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Biorepository department stores millions of clinical trial samples using an inventory management system after study closure for future research. Our team organizes, stores, aliquots, and ships samples based on client requests. The team makes use of a very large automated freezer that stores 4.5 million samples to track and retrieve samples. We also use automated liquid handler technology to aliquot samples for testing.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Learn about the biorepository processes and regulations we must follow.

• Help develop and implement process improvements.

• Provide new perspectives and brainstorm new ideas on how we can operate more effectively.

• Review current procedures and learn work processes.

Education/Qualification/Skills:

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in a STEM major.

• Critical thinking skills and the ability brainstorm new ways of improving processes.

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
