Business Intelligence Specialist - Claims

Are you passionate about automating processes and delivering data-driven insights? Join us as a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst and take the lead in transitioning from manual reporting to fully automated, scalable solutions. In this role, you’ll guide a team in designing and deploying Power BI dashboards and reports that streamline workflows and empower self-service analytics across the enterprise. Expertise in advanced Power BI capabilities, semantic modeling, and automation best practices is highly valued.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts to design and develop automated reporting solutions through Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Drive automation initiatives, replacing manual reporting processes with scalable, efficient BI solutions.

• Foster innovation by exploring emerging technologies such as AI in reporting to enhance insights and efficiency.

• Lead complex reporting initiatives using Power BI, SQL, and other BI tools.

• Translate business requirements into intuitive dashboards and reports.

• Conduct deep data analysis to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data integrity and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• 60%: Design, develop, and implement automated and scalable BI solutions; provide advanced reporting and root cause analysis.

• 20%: Lead and mentor senior analyst on technical questions

• 10%: Lead requirements gathering and partner with IT on production-ready solutions.

• 10%: Stay current on BI trends; ensure data quality and system performance.

What You Bring:

• 6+ years in Business Intelligence, with a strong focus on delivering insights to business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with insurance claims lifecycle, preferably with property & casualty claims.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, or related field.

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel, with a proven track record of building impactful dashboards and reports.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead initiatives, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

$86,000.00 - $143,700.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
