About the role:
As a key member of the marketing team, you will be responsible for owning and elevating Flock Freight’s web performance & experiences to serve user needs and meet growth objectives. A strategic, data-driven, and technical-oriented marketer with intermediate to advanced back-end platform development skills, your work will be critical to enabling Flock to continue scaling our marketing program through tracking and experiments that increase paid and organic efficacy to maximize website conversions.

Responsibilities:
- Be the day-to-day owner of FlockFreight.com and all supporting landing pages, overseeing all aspects of the site - from strategy and development to functional optimizations and tracking/tagging/reporting
- Lead Conversion Rate Optimization and A/B testing initiatives, identifying opportunities and collaborating with key company stakeholders to understand business needs and make data-driven decisions to optimize the site.
- Define KPIs, perform analysis and socialize insights regularly on the effectiveness of testing & optimization efforts.
- Manage and perform real-time updates in the website CMS, including minor coding/development changes as needed
- Lead conversations with designers and developers in creating wireframes and page components.
- Oversee all web conversion tracking activities, including Google Analytics and Tag Manager and integrations with all major ad platforms.
- Responsible for integrating and optimizing the functionality of analytics and testing tools and building connectivity between CRMs and marketing automation systems (preferably with demonstrable experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, etc)
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve user journeys, conversion rates and SEO.
- Partner with content teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming
- The go-to playbook owner and strategist of dynamic and interactive website elements, such as live chat tools, building out and optimizing strategy to support lead campaigns, the delivery of dynamic content, and increase overall site conversion
- Ensure website compliance with all regulations including cookie and accessibility standards (SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree with 5+ years of applicable job experience
- Extensive expertise in website management and website analytics (minimum Wordpress CMS experience)
- Intermediate to advanced website coding / development capabilities highly preferred
- CRO best practices a major plus
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Tag Manager and GA4
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot marketing automation a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML and Markdown Understanding of technical, on-page and off-page SEO
