Senior Security Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to assist in our cybersecurity efforts, ensuring the protection of our digital assets while adhering to NIST CSF/800-53 and ISO 27001 standards. 

Job Summary: The Senior Security Engineer at Forte Opening Solutions will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with NIST CSF/800-53 and ISO 27001 standards. The role will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our critical information assets and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provides technical security expertise across information security tools in the environment 

• Assist with the development and maintenance of security standards 

• Participates in implementation of ongoing management of security programs and information security tools 

• Support in conducting Vulnerability Scans 

• Monitors information security tools to prioritize alerting 

• Assist with troubleshooting, upgrading, enhancing information security tools. 

• Assists with Incident Response 

• Security System Support 

Technical Competencies 

• Moderate experience with Multiple Operating Systems ex. Microsoft, Linux, Mac OS (Intermediate Level) 

• Basic understanding of Networking, Proxy, Load Balancers, Firewall, DNS, AD, Radius, Kerberos, PKI Management, Remote Access (Intermediate Level) 

• Experience with Endpoint Protection, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability Scanning, Malware Analysis, Data Loss Prevention, Penetration testing, Running Phishing campaigns and reporting (Intermediate Level) 

•  Ability to lead projects 

CISSP Required or equivalent 

 3 – 5 years experience 

 Detailed understanding of Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO) 

 Strong Customer Service
