Position Overview

Driving commercial vehicles, short and long distances, to deliver equipment to customers while maintaining compliance with all Company safety policies and federal transportation regulations.

What You’ll Do

· Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision

· Endure timely interstate and/or intrastate delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site

· Load and unload products and equipment for delivery

· Inspect commercial vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform pre and post-trip inspections and report any issues to management

· Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including but not limited to DOT hours of services, E-logs, rest breaks and any other record required by law

· Responsible for following safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements

· Safely operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklift, pallet jacks we needed

· Stay in compliance with annual training requirements

· Follow all traffic laws and report any violations and incidents 

Skills We Are Seeking

· Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving within the last 5 years

· A proven aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experiences

· A keenness to learn, adapt, and implement new technologies and mythologies

· Capable of routinely handling items weighing up to 75 pounds

· Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards for Class A commercial drivers (background, MVR, drug testing, insurance standards)

· Strong knowledge of the roadways within the delivery territory
