The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Manager to join our Supply Chain Business Operations Change Management team in Renton, WA.
The selected candidate will be working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment while learning new skills, solving challenging problems, and experiencing opportunities to grow in the SC organization. This position is supplier facing and will be responsible for managing the relationship with external suppliers and project managing all aspects of their performance.
As an integral member of the Supply Chain Business Operations Change Management team, the Project Management Manager will provide support to external suppliers and internal organizations through their supply chain knowledge, with a focus on development programs, customer introductions, and certification. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to efficiently and effectively achieve development program milestones. The Statement of Work includes standard Project Management Manager functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.
Our team is looking for a skilled Project Management Manager (Level K).
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees that develop projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executes all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in fulfillment operations, program management, or supply chain management
- 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Able to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
- 3+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- Knowledge of MPR, CMES, Velocity, Redars, PDM, ERPLN
- Proven ability to execute on commitments
- 3+ years of experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results

Summary pay range (Level K) $122,000 - $131,850
