Reporting to and in collaboration with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing reliability and availability of assets at optimal cost; working on continuous improvement of asset efficiency, cost and compliance by identifying, developing and presenting justification for reliability improvement initiatives; will define, design, monitor asset maintenance plans, including life cycle costing of equipment/process.the Carthage Ohio facility. You will be on-site.

 

In this challenging position, you'll...

• Prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining reliability problems and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct an analysis of reliability problems and investigate to determine the reliability required for the particular situation considering the cost limitations for equipment up/down time, repair/replacement costs, and availability of materials/equipment.
• Define and develop Asset Reliability Plans that includes preventive maintenance tasks and effective use of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.
• Use of CMMS to ensure the proper preventative maintenance for manufacturing equipment. Gather and examine reliability data from break down reports, flag charts, line data or field studies; analyze the data using defined techniques/procedures.
• Lead the maintenance reliability team in development and implementation of best practices, reliability programs and maintaining critical spare parts.
• Lead root cause failure analysis for chronic reliability issues. Plans and Implements corrective action plans with the team.
• Develop capital project requests to eliminate chronic failures on equipment.

 

You?

• B.S. in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in reliability engineering and maintenance strategy.
• Experience in Maintenance supervision.
• Experience and proven proficiency with a CMMS .
