The University of Cincinnati Cancer Center (UCCC) is dedicated to reducing the burden of cancer through groundbreaking science, innovative clinical research, workforce development and meaningful community engagement throughout the region and beyond.

 

A full time Marketing & Events Project Coordinator position is available in UCCC. This position will implement projects, programs, and operational activities that support UCCC’s marketing, communications, event, and stakeholder engagement objectives. This position assists with project implementation, social media operations, event planning and logistics, communications support, and stakeholder engagement activities that advance Cancer Center priorities.

 

Salary range: $47,800-$53,182. Final pay rate will be determined based on candidate qualifications and experience.

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop and manage marketing, communications, event, and stakeholder engagement projects/programs; establish and carry out related goals and objectives that support Cancer Center priorities.
  • Coordinate operational activities associated with marketing initiatives, communications programs, meetings, seminars and special events. Manage project timelines, deliverables, schedules, registrations and related administrative processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress of projects/programs; prepare reports, meeting materials, agendas, minutes, and other documentation to support project and program objectives.
  • Develop, edit, publish and distribute promotional materials across digital, web, email and social media channels; support content scheduling, monitoring and performance reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, seminars, and special events, including registration management, attendee communications, speaker support, venue coordination and event materials; independently manage assigned events and provide support for larger initiatives.
  • Liaise with appropriate stakeholders to coordinate event-related financial and administrative processes, including contracts, purchasing, travel arrangements, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, reimbursements and budget tracking activities.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
