POSITION SUMMARY
The Ice Cream Category Business Operations Associate Manager is responsible for all operational elements to help run a smooth and effective back-end operations to support the Category Sales and Planning managers. The key deliverable is to implement and drive operational processes & systems with the coordination of support functions (SC & finance etc.), thus enabling the sales planning team to focus on core strategy & business development.
The role should be seen as “Nerve Center” for business unit for ensuring smooth back-end support for day-to-day operations, delivery of Business Unit targets and seamless projects with on time execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Key operational link with Brand Managers, CSPM’s and field sales for brand issues and opportunities
• Owns early project management of the special pack process through project brief completion
• Creation & Maintenance of SKU Master, which includes content needed for the TCT (Trade Category Toolkit).
• ACBOM is responsible for accurate field communications such as specifications (deal sheets), special packs, codes and first delivery to customer dates
• Coordination & Maintenance of item setup for Evergreen and SAP
• Ensures special packs/innovation volumes are planned in Evergreen and are aligned with estimated volumes
• Owns supply communication between SC & Field Sales, including allocations (ie. DC splits)
• Responsible for coordinating delivery of comps & displays/freezers for trade shows and/or Customer presentations (includes Sales Samples)
• Responsible for coordination of Sales Sample process on Innovations
• Assist Supply Chain with exit strategy (Slow Moving Obsolete Goods or Discontinued items)
CHALLENGES

• Managing a high level of detail on projects
• Understanding and communication of complex SKU development process
• Strong understanding of cost drivers within the business
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Project management experience
• 2+ years of experience in any of the following areas: Field Sales, Supply Chain planning or other related field
• Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate across various functions (Supply Chain, CSP, Finance, Marketing, and Packaging/Packaging Vendors) with strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong familiarity with internal operating and ordering systems
