What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with post orders and site policies, helping to identify prohibited items or unusual activity for follow-up.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to support orderly access for authorized personnel, vendors, and transportation partners.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or policy violations within warehouse and distribution areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
