This position will be working onsite from Miami.    

 

Position Summary:


The Account Executive of Onboard Marketing is responsible for supporting the Sr. Account Executive of the department in conjunction with operations and shipboard teams, to assist in identifying, recommending, developing and facilitating the standardization of branding guidelines for the Silversea brand. The AE, launches and manages communications, collaborates with departmental peers, and ensures all needs are successfully met. This team member will also support the Sr. AE in sustaining partnerships across the organization and will be involved with global strategic and tactical branding initiatives and programs designed to achieve or exceed satisfaction targets within all onboard channels.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a partnership with operations and brand teams to ensure that all entities are informed and aligned with the branding and communications strategies.
  • Assists in implementing initiatives and strategies through all integrated onboard communications channels to inform and engage guest awareness of need-to-know information, existing or new onboard offerings or experiences.
  • Supports onboard communication channel strategies developed to execute operations and strategic partnership initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting in development of consumer facing communications (signs, flyers, etc.), digital entertainment, talk tracks for shipboard teams, SOPs, ideating on new opportunities, etc.
  • Day-to-day contact with internal operational partners.
  • Leverages brand comment cards, social, chat sites, blogs and trend research to recommend areas of improvement and suggest where Silversea can realize a competitive advantage in the vacation industry.
  • Maintains an organized database of all onboard collateral collected during ship visits.
  • Tracks analytics of all onboard marketing work and creates monthly recaps to be shared out with Silversea leadership.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • BA/BS required in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or agency experience. Minimum of 2 years curriculum development experience required. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and with good written grammar.
  • Must be well-organized.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Works effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Has an understanding of brand strategy.
  • Ability to think analytically and provide solutions under time constraints.
  • Ability to collaborate with operational partners and other channels to help them achieve their objectives.
