DESCRIPTION: The Corporate Development Associate role presents an exhilarating chance for an enthusiastic and driven individual to become part of the vibrant team at Foundry, a distinguished subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, one of the foremost and dynamic investors in the blockchain industry.

Under the guidance of the Director of Business Development, the Corporate Development Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Business Development (BD) team and overseeing Foundry’s extensive Proof of Work services. This multifaceted position entails expertly managing CRM systems, orchestrating deal pipelines, and providing seamless assistance to customers, ensuring unparalleled satisfaction and engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explore dynamic trends, competitive landscapes, and burgeoning opportunities within the exciting world of cryptocurrencies.
• Curate, synthesize, and interpret data to unlock valuable insights for Foundry’s forward-thinking Business Development team.
• Craft and refine financial models to assess opportunities, forecast revenue streams, and empower strategic decision-making.
• Forge meaningful connections with clients, offering tailored solutions and responsive support to meet their evolving needs.
• Craft compelling reports and deliver engaging presentations to effectively communicate discoveries and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lend analytical prowess to high-impact strategic initiatives, driving innovation and growth.
• Discover and engage with prospective clients, strategic partners, and influential voices shaping the crypto ecosystem.
• Stay ahead of the curve by closely monitoring competitor movements and industry trends to inform strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management or a related degree, or equivalent work experience
• 0-3 years experience
• Proficient in financial modeling and possesses strong analytical skills to assess opportunities, forecast outcomes, and support strategic decision-making.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-oriented with a focus on streamlined processes
• Ability to work autonomously with sound decision-making
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• Continuous learning attitude
• Highly adaptable, adept at managing multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively

Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Interest and passion for Bitcoin
• Experience with developer-facing products and/or infrastructure services
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Grace and patience to thrive in an often volatile and challenging industry

A range of compensation is provided for transparency, however different factors may affect this range. Some of these factors may include (but are not limited to) education, training, credentials, skills, geographic location, and experience. This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
Range of Compensation: $70,000-$100,000
