This new role will report into the Manager of Technical Workflows Governance and will be responsible for the management of content delivery exceptions from receipt of the rejection, through identifying issues and tracking progress, and final resolution. This person will use their extensive audio, video, and ancillary material background to support our media supply chain, delivering thousands of titles and assets to some of the largest content distribution partners in the world. The goal of this role would be to expand the bandwidth of the current exception handling process and aid in the continuous refinement of that process to increase simplicity and throughput.
Your Role Accountabilities:
- Work with the asset rejection team to receive rejections from internal and external clients and follow those assets through the exception handling process to completion, redelivery, and signoff.
- Be a media expert, fielding questions and requests from our Client Services, Content Operations, and Localization teams among others pertaining to media deliverables and the rejection process.
- Attend meetings as a representative of the Workflows Governance team specifically around rejection and exception handling, lending a voice of media expertise to the conversation.
- Led by the Manager of Technical Workflows Governance, work with internal and external partners to streamline, simplify, and ultimately increase the bandwidth and exception rate of the media supply chain.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Any candidate applying to this role must have:
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the content creation and distribution lifecycle including versioning and localization for international markets.
- 2+ years’ experience with a ticketing system (Zendesk, Jira, etc.).
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable navigating, interpreting, and working with multiple data resources.
- Effective communication skills required.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with cost consciousness.
- Experience in working under competing deadlines and prioritizing appropriately.
- Experience with Smartsheet, QA players, and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Not Required but preferred experience:
- Prior experience in working within an internationally distributed media company with a high volume of distribution deliverables and endpoints.
- Significant experience with global content servicing workflows and technical specifications for world wide partners like Amazon (strong preference), Apple, Google and Netflix
- Proven examples of working quickly to identify issues and solutions, taking on the responsibility of generating success.
- Have proven examples of embodying the WBD principles of acting as one team, empowering storytelling, and building what’s next, including others.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,460.00 - $88,140.00 salary per year.
