Prescription Refill Representative (CPhT) - Hybrid

The Specialist-Central Refill Services 1 is a clinical position that assists in all aspects of processing prescription refill authorization requests. Under the supervision of pharmacy services and working within established protocols, the Central Refill Services Specialist 1 acts as an agent for the provider to authorize prescription refills. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians and pharmacies.

Required Qualifications: 

• Upon hire: Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or Certified Pharmacy Technician - National Healthcareer Association 
• 3 years as a Pharmacy Technician.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
