Senior Payroll Specialist Temp

We are seeking an experience and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The ideal professional will bring strong technical payroll expertise, exceptional accuracy, and a proactive approach to process improvement. UKG Experience is Preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, and timekeeping systems.
• Manage deductions, garnishments, benefit contributions, and other adjustments
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for internal and external audits
• Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Stay Current with changes in payroll and employment laws and tax regulations

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principals
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with UKG preferred.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
• Full-time hours, Monday-Friday.
