We are seeking an experience and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The ideal professional will bring strong technical payroll expertise, exceptional accuracy, and a proactive approach to process improvement. UKG Experience is Preferred. You will be responsible for processing, compliance, reporting, and supporting the HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness for all employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain payroll records, employee data, and timekeeping systems.
- Manage deductions, garnishments, benefit contributions, and other adjustments
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports for internal and external audits
- Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Stay Current with changes in payroll and employment laws and tax regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principals
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with UKG preferred.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
- Full-time hours, Monday-Friday.
