JOB SUMMARY

As a Pipeline Operator – Intermediate, you’ll play a critical role in keeping natural gas and liquids pipeline systems operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. This hands-on position is ideal for an experienced operator who enjoys working in the field, troubleshooting equipment, and taking ownership of day-to-day pipeline operations. You’ll support a wide range of facilities and systems—compressor and pump stations, dehydration and measurement facilities, storage sites, and pipelines—while responding quickly to operational needs and emergency situations.

In this role, you’ll perform intermediate-level operations and maintenance activities such as startups and shutdowns, pigging, liquid collection, line locating and marking, leakage surveys, cathodic protection monitoring, and construction watch. You’ll gather operational data, complete inspections, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll regularly coordinate with teammates, contractors, landowners, customers, and regulatory agencies.

This position requires comfort working independently with limited supervision, applying sound judgment in the field, and handling physically demanding work in both indoor and outdoor environments. If you’re safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and looking for a challenging role where your experience directly supports critical energy infrastructure, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
