GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Communications Specialist – Content and Editorial creates and publishes clear, compelling, consistent, and accurate content and communications. Builds credibility as a trusted partner through a balance of business acumen, effective communication, project management and client relationships.  

 

Provides a broad spectrum of internal communications, including proactively sourcing story and content ideas from within the organization to create, write, edit and distribute clear, compelling, and consistent deliverables. Collaborates with corporate communications, divisions and line of business partners to develop content.  

 

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues. Ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies, creates and curates high-quality content for the company’s intranet.  

  • Identifies and implements content and communication strategies across multiple mediums and channels. 

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, designers, videographers, and subject matter experts. 

  • Delivers against editorial calendars and ensures all content is consistent with our Brand, Vision, Purpose and Values. 

  • Champions employee engagement by promoting interactive features, campaigns, and storytelling.  

  • Partners with Technology and Human Capital teams and other departments to ensure seamless integration with other digital workplace tools.  

  • Monitors and analyzes content performance to continuously improve the user experience through design enhancements, personalization, and feedback loops. 

  • Establishes and enforces governance policies, content standards, and publishing workflows. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and consistent messaging. 

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required to fulfill departmental goals.
