Customer Service Representative

Renton Veterinary Hospital is looking for a customer service oriented professional to join our team! Our clinic has been serving Renton since 1941 and is proud of the reputation we have! We serve our community by providing affordable, caring, and world-class veterinary services.

Our Veterinary Receptionists are the front line representatives of our hospital and present our clients, current and potential, with the impression of our hospital. It is essential that they are able to multi-task, communicate professionally, accurately, and possess excellent customer service instincts! Our receptionists are truly all stars!

As a Client Service Representative, your job tasks would include (but not limited to):

• Answering phones
• Taking messages
• Scheduling Appointments
• Answering E-mails and Communicating with clients via PetDesk
• Checking-In Clients and Patients; ensuring their file information is accurate
• Collecting and Processing Payments, cash handling
• Maintaining a clean lobby
• Accounting; Closing/Opening procedures
• Assisting in animal handling of pets up to 40lbs
• Accurate communication with Outside Pharmacies, other Veterinary Clinics and clients.

The Client Service Representative role is essential to the success of the hospital and we are looking for a candidate will the following experience:

• 1-2 years in a Customer Service/Customer Facing role
• Experience answering multi-line phones and scheduling appointments
• High School Diploma
• Experience working in a team environment
• 1+ year in the Veterinary Field (preferred)

Schedule:

• Full-Time, 32hrs-40hrs/week
• Availability Mondays-Fridays
• 10hr shifts, 8am-6pm
• No Weekends or Holidays
• Reliable Attendance and Transportation

Starting Wage $18.00/hr

Wage range for this position is $18.00-$20.50 based on experience, education, job responsibilities, merit, job performance and reliability.
