Job Title: Lake Terrace Pool Bartender
Job Pay Range: $20-25 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate + service charge*
*$20-25 per hour based on $6.50 per hour base wage + service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $20-25 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year.
This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour.

As a member of the Lake Terrace Pool team, you will facilitate food and drink service to guests by performing the following duties.

What you will be doing:
• Execute service duties in accordance with Forbes AAA inspection standards and Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
• Maintain knowledge of, abide by, and enforce Colorado liquor laws
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails or other drinks.
• Serves mixed drinks, frozen cocktails, wine, canned or draft beer.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge and recommend items to guests as necessary.
• Serve food from kitchen to guests in an efficient manner
• Communicate with serving staff and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders
• Communicate directly with chef/expeditor to insure proper timing of service
• Be knowledgeable in food product, and food preparations. Understand what the kitchen is serving and ensure all food is properly served
• Know the table numbers and pivot points for all areas of the restaurant
• Be able to answer questions guests might have regarding food and beverages being served
• Replenish supply of reusable acrylic glassware in the bar area
• Break down and reset bar area in accordance with side work
• Assist Servers in any other duties as needed prior to, during, and after service
• Maintain courteous, professional, and polite attitude with all other service and kitchen staff
• Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history, grounds, restaurants, and retail outlets
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we are looking for:
• High school diploma or GED with experience working in the food and beverage industry, specifically as a bartender, for at least one year.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with order processing
• Flexibility in schedule as it will change often.
• Ability to complete Broadmoor Alcohol Awareness training
• In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times and employee may be exposed to fumes, toxic, or caustic chemicals.
