Overview
Touro University Nevada (TUN) seeks an energetic, talented, and goal-driven professional for the Assistant Director of Office of Academic Services and Institutional Support (OASIS) position within the Division of Student Affairs. This position reports to the Director of OASIS. The Assistant Director of OASIS will work collaboratively with the Division of Student Affairs staff, the University faculty, and academic programs, and will support the Director to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Office of Academic Services and Institutional Support (OASIS). The Assistant Director of OASIS position exists to provide services that maximize the success, retention, and graduation of COM and CHHS students. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the University’s core values of intellectual pursuit and service to humanity through their work.
Located in Henderson, Nevada, approximately twenty-five minutes from the iconic Las Vegas strip, Touro University Nevada is a non-profit medical, health sciences, and education graduate university focused on positively impacting our community in healthcare and education. Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree required (Science, Health Science, Education, or related field preferred)
Experience:
- Experience teaching
- Experience working with graduate and/or professional students
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience with graduate-level life sciences or health sciences background
- Experience with online teaching environment
- Experience with APA and editing academic papers
- Experience with technology and learning management platforms
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with documentation and record-keeping
- Experience supervising staff
Skills & Abilities:
- Must have demonstrated skills in
