Scripps Networks is looking for a driven sales professional to join our team. This Account Executive is responsible for driving Scripps Advertising Sales revenue by prospecting, maintaining and growing partnerships with Small and Medium Businesses and Independent Agencies (SMBI) by leveraging the Scripps portfolio including but not limited to Linear, CTV, Advanced TV, Sponsorships and Marketing.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Drive cross platform sales across Small and Medium Sized businesses as well as Independent Agencies.

• Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships directly to clients and Agency partners.

• Effectively research and cultivate new business targets.

• Negotiate and maintain upfront and scatter deals with clients. Meet partners needs by managing inventory and schedules and assuring marketing objectives are met.

• Present and position the Scripps Networks portfolio and the value it offers clients by using research, marketing opportunities and delivery platforms.

• Message Networks goals and strategies to clients and manage expectations.

• Maintain a thorough and extensive knowledge of the marketplace including category and industry trends as well as competitive capabilities.

• Collaborate with Pricing & Planning team to manage and maximize inventory optimization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Previous media sales experience with growth business preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of national media experience

• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $165,000.00 - 185000

 

Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
