Description
At Axiom Care, the Director of Community Programs is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective referral sources through a variety of marketing and network activities.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities
· Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company objectives
· Identify and target new markets, new potential lines of business, potential referral partners, and strategic partners.
· Manage relationships with existing referral partners to ensure satisfaction and promote additional opportunities
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
· Collaborate with Marketing department to develop and manage marketing campaigns, increase brand awareness, develop marketing and website content, etc.
· Build strong collaborative relationships with Axiom Care admissions/intake staff, discharge planners, clinicians, providers, etc.
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations on business development activities
· Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed
· Expeditiously document all activity in company CRM
· Develop, maintain, and optimize referral process for referral partners including healthcare organizations and government agencies, in order to best meet the needs of the referring agencies.
· Represent Axiom Care in a variety of public venues such as speaking engagements, media, conferences, etc
· Provide recommendations for expansion and improvement of existing Axiom Care programs in order to better adapt to changing best practices, local community needs, and competitive landscape.
· Participate in prison in-reach activities as needed
· Participate in Axiom Care advocacy efforts
· Responsible for direct supervision of Business Development Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

· Working knowledge of self-help programs, including (but not limited to) AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and Celebrate Recovery.
· Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
· Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
· Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
