About the team:
Print checks, cards, inserts and other materials for distribution through the use of automated printing and inserting machines. Follow company operational procedures and policies for printing and inserting to produce both accurate and quality work in a timely manner.
What you will be doing:
In this role you will performs high speed, high volume production tasks such as: Printing and inserting to process checks, cards and inserts. While performing those tasks you will also be setting up equipment, loading materials, clearing jams and other simple malfunctions as needed. You’ll have the opportunity and the responsibility for training and assisting less-experienced operators. This may designate you as a lead on team and serve as back-up in the absence of supervisor.
Maintain productivity on all machines and deliver a quality product while meeting all production deadlines.
Follow company operational procedures and policies for printing and inserting to produce both accurate and quality work in a timely manner.
Pay close attention to detail when printing and inserting client files according to client specific set-up instructions.
Complete and maintain operator reports and logs including output and productivity.
Maintain an accurate check, insert and postage logs.
Performs maintenance and make adjustments to the system as needed.
Keep machines and work area clean as well as restock your area with supplies as needed.
Help maintain and track all inventories of necessary supplies while working within established quality control procedures.
Interact with various departments such as Quality Assurance and Presort Production to help resolve production problems.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
Schedule:
Monday -- Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm EST
Weekend work required at least once a month
Occasional holidays
This onsite position is located at our Canton, Massachusetts office
What you bring:
Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the function
Strong attention to detail
Verbal and written communication skills must be clear, tactful, and constructive
Data Entry skills
Must be able to stand, walk and bend while lifting to 40 pounds
Added bonus if you have:
3 – 5 years of production or manufacturing experience
The aptitude to repair machines or electronics
