Product Owner - Evinova

Role Barcelona onsite - 3 days at office / 2 days at home

Evinova is currently recruiting a dedicated and driven Product Owner to join our Product Engineering team, focusing on our innovative product – Unified Trial Solutions (UTS). UTS is a key strategic initiative at Evinova, designed to unify and streamline clinical trial execution, helping clinical study teams and sites deliver impactful outcomes across the enterprise. 

As Product Owner for UTS, you will be at the forefront of defining, shaping, prioritizing, and delivering features and enhancements that advance clinical trial efficiency and user experience. Partnering with a high-performing global engineering team, and collaborating closely with experts across design, product, and platform, you’ll regularly translate complex needs into actionable development plans and continuously improve our solution. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Co-develop, communicate, and refine the product vision and strategy for UTS in partnership with stakeholders. 

• Gather and evaluate business, clinical, and user requirements, translating them into clear and actionable product backlog items. 

• Provide clear guidance and prioritization, making informed decisions about product features, enhancements, and trade-offs. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integrations and an exceptional user experience. 

• Ensure that the product delivers against acceptance criteria to ensure continuous improvement and product excellence. 

• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding product goals, progress, and performance. 
   

Ideal Background 

You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence and are passionate about driving technology solutions that deliver meaningful business impact. Product ownership, product management, or business analysis experience in a fast-paced software environment will help you succeed in this role. 

If you have worked with SaaS platforms, digital health solutions, or clinical trial/healthcare products, that’s a strong plus. Familiarity with technical concepts including Java, Node.js, JS, SQL, or NoSQL will support your collaboration with engineering – but above all, we value your ability to learn, adapt, and lead. 

Success in this role will be shaped by your ability to: 

• Communicate and work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. 

• Prioritize requirements based on strategic objectives, user value, and development capacity. 

• Drive initiatives forward in a collaborative, agile environment. 

• Use data and feedback for ongoing product refinement. 

• Experience working within Agile methodologies,  participating in ceremonies  to drive collaborative and iterative product delivery. 

• Hands-on experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to manage product backlogs, documentation, and cross-functional workflows, ensuring transparency and effective team collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
