2nd Shift General Laborer

Description

This position is responsible for assisting manufacturing cell production on a day to day basis. Including, but not limited to, assisting with running robotic welders, grinding, tacking, and basic assembly functions. Other duties include assisting in the deburring and de-nesting areas, processing product to internal customers after they are produced within internal work centers. This is an entry level position geared toward developing team members.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 2:00pm-12:00am

Wage: $18.00 - 22.00 per hour + $2.00 shift premium 

Responsibilities:

• Helping in the robot cell
• Grinding
• Hole Drilling
• Saw Operation
• Deburring
• De-nesting
• Light Assembly

Materials and Equipment Utilized:

· Hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc.)

· Computers, printers, etc.

· Robotic Welders

· PPE (safety glasses, gloves, welding helmet, and ear plugs as needed)

Working Environment:

· 100% Manufacturing: low to moderate noise, safety glasses required and other personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable.

Requirements

Education and Training:

· High School Diploma

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Computer skills

· Knowledge of manufacturing basics 

· Ability to follow direction

· Flexible and can quickly adjust to change 

Travel Requirements:

· Minimal

Physical Requirements:

· Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. for short periods

· Sit, stand, and bend throughout the day
