Logistics Dispatcher - 1st Shift (Swing Opportunities)

HOURS: 6:00a - 3:00p, options to cover 2nd shift vacations occassionally 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Control trailer locations at all locations in Battle Creek (126, 215, Freezer, Garage, etc.)
• Assign and track all trailer movements.
• Monitor truck repair by communication with Garage staff.
• Use radio, phones and/or computers to communicate with all drivers and personnel at each location in a professional manner.
• Receives and transmits information regarding inbounds/outbounds/storage.
• Keel close communication with all inbounds from sister plants.
• Maintain and update “White Board”.
• Maintain, record, fuel, temp checks on all trailers when necessary.
• Demonstrates problem solving and decision making ability.
• Other duties as assigned or required
