Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Director for our Security Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Director you will:
•Conduct and direct investigations
•Coordinate educational programs for the continuing education of the officers
•Develop, revises, and maintains the Hazardous Weather Plan for the hospital
•Develop, revises, and maintains the Access Control System
•Develop, revises, and maintains an off-campus shuttle program
•Develop, revises, and maintains the traffic control and parking program
•Develop, revises, and administers the departmental budget
•Ensure quality outcomes for security department by communicating effectively with security staff and public
Qualifications include:
•Bachelor’s degree or Extensive experience in Hospital Security
•2-5 years’ experience in management of security preferably in a hospital setting
•Must possess valid Driver’s License
•Must qualify for a Maryland Special Police Commission (Clean Criminal History required)
•Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Work Schedule:
Develops, revises, and maintains standardized trainings that meet regulatory requirements and internal expectations for all Security Officers. M-F (8-5) be available for urgent situations as needed

Pay Range:
$89,356.80 - $134,035.20In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
