Position Overview

 

Reporting to the Security Manager, this role will serve as the first level for establishing a stable, secure and efficient server, storage, network, systems and application environment at Oldcastle Infrastructure and have overall responsibility securing and responding to the security needs on Oldcastle’s cloud and on-premise platforms, infrastructure, networking, information/data security, privacy, IT operations and the internal Service Desk. The successful candidate will advise and inform the overall security strategy while delivering large-scale, high-throughput systems and achieving operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Monitor Oldcastle Infrastructure security systems
  • Remediate detected vulnerabilities and identified risks to maintain a high security standard
  • Working with the service team, remediate and answer questions regarding security concerns.
  • Make recommendation to improve security posture.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain host and network Intrusion Detections/Prevention Systems
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Endpoint Detection and Response
  • Monitor computer network for security issues
  • Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.
  • Subject Matter Expert for all security related issues.
  • Forensic malware analysis and threat hunting
  • Responsible for high-level escalation
  • Participate in weekly team calls
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

Education/Experience

 

  • I/T related Security certificate, education or experience in security field.
  • At least 2-4 years experience in Network Troubleshooting, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Operating System Skills

 

 

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

 

  • Experienced with Splunk, ServiceNow, Office 365, SentinelOne, Okta MFA, Qualys
  • Familiarity with Cisco switches, Palo Alto platforms
  • At least 2 year experience in Customer Service
  • English: Fluent
