2K Senior Process Engineer
Senior Process Engineers are key players in our manufacturing environment. To perform this job effectively, individuals must meet the following Criteria: Education and Experience. The person for this position will need to have international travel availability if needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a Safe and Clean work environment
- Strong Plastic/ LSR processing knowledge
- Maintain and communicate the general knowledge of Plastic and LSR material properties and molding techniques across departmental functions.
- Implementation and optimization of new and existing processes
- The ability to provide written work instructions, and training documents to cross train.
- Ensure all documentation are properly approved, correct, concise, and understandable.
- Provide responsive support to the manufacturing operation and process technicians.
- Assist in the identification of new processes to support cost reductions, quality improvements, and statistically capable processes.
- Ensure all Mold changes have been completed thoroughly and manufacture ready. Identify Change over improvements for more efficient Changes.
- Maintain Tooling Pm’s with support from Tooling department
Responsibilities Continued
- Perform technical support to manufacturing, automation, and maintenance
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigation
- Drive scrap reduction efforts from secondary operations.
- Provide Support in the LIM area.

Required Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of rubber Molding, or plastic Molding
- Ability to write detailed descriptive correspondence regarding molding processes. Ability to effectively present information in small and large group situations to manufacturing staff and customers/clients as needed.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to perform basic and advanced mathematics using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, standard units, and metric units. Utilization and understanding of statistics, geometry, and dimensional tolerances.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to process and organize data and details into actionable activities and process solutions
