Tenneco is seeking a Senior HR Generalist with integrity, grit, creativity, and resilience desired for this newly created role on the corporate HR team! This is a continuous improvement focused role that requires flexibility, winning people over, and a willingness to make things better. You will partner with your manager and resources across the organization to ensure US HR Compliance is in top notch shape, support HR projects that deliver execution excellence, and guide change and adoption for HR systems.

 

Compliance

  • Assist in management of US HR Compliance vendor partners.
  • Train key users on US HR Compliance process, systems, etc. as well as promote training opportunities with vendor partners.
  • Partner with sites to troubleshoot data and systems issues in compliance systems.
  • Develop communications and training materials, and partner with Global Compliance to facilitate US required trainings.
  • Educate sites on annual US HR compliance audit requirements: data, posters, training, documentation, etc.
  • Maintain US HR Compliance portal documentation.

 

HR Projects

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement HR projects that improve efficiency and deliver greater value to the organization.
  • Apply Tenneco P3 standards to projects to optimize efficiency, improve agility and workflows.
  • Create communications and training that strengthen Tenneco Standard operating.

 

Organizational Change Management

  • Support the development and implementation of change management plans for HR and Payroll Systems change initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams, business units and IT leaders to align change activities with project goals.
  • Create and manage communication plans to keep key resources informed and engaged throughout each project.
  • Develop training resources to help teams adapt and succeed with new tools and processes.
  • Monitor change efforts, gather feedback and find ways to continuously improve our approach.

 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of HR experience to include a combination of working at a plant site, maintaining US HR Compliance efforts, and proficiency using HR systems.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of change management to include proven success in driving adoption of new processes, programs or systems.
  • Experience creating and delivering communications and trainings to various levels within an organization.
  • Curious, driven, and willing to learn!
