Job Description
The LEGO® Group is seeking a Director of US Brand Marketing to set the strategic direction for brand marketing in the US market. This critical leadership role involves managing a brand marketing team, partnering with Global marketing counterparts, and building strategic relationships with retailers and IP partners to drive brand growth. The ideal candidate is a proven brand strategist and people leader with experience navigating complex, global organizations and translating business ambitions into compelling, audience-first storytelling and experiences.
Core Responsibilities
Set the overall brand marketing strategy and direction for a growing segment in the US
Lead and manage a brand marketing team, ensuring alignment with business goals of The LEGO Group
Partner closely with Global marketing teams to ensuring consistency and local market relevance/adaption of our global strategy
Develop and oversee brand marketing budgets, ensuring effective and efficient resource allocation
Build and maintain strategic partnership and relationships to enhance brand presence (including with our 3rd party retailers and IP partners)
Monitor industry trends and adapt marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness

The mission statement for The LEGO Group US marketing team is to effectively and efficiently grow our brand by putting our audiences at the core of everything we do, translating overarching business ambitions into actionable, lasting storytelling and experiences in the US. The Director of US Brand Marketing is a critical leader and growth driver within the US business unit.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven proficiency in brand management, long-term planning, strategy development and portfolio management; global premium consumer brand preferred
Demonstrated people leadership experience, preferably in a global setting developing direct and indirect team members
Excellent collaborator management across all levels of an organization both internally and externally; effective communication style to drive influence
Strong business sense with a proven ability to turn data into insights. A continuous improvement outlook ensures that past findings and insights are included in future activities and processes.
Experience leading and completing multiple projects (local and global) at one time, with the ability to problem solve while delivering sound recommendations
Ability & willingness to travel; expectation 4-6 trips per year, domestic and international
Previous experience working with / within a global marketing organization
Demonstrable skill in navigating and delivering against “stretch goals” in complex organizational structures

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $169,031.00 - $253,547.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
