The Role at a Glance

The AVP of Financial Analysis provides leadership, direction and functional expertise to ensure the overall success of the finance team. This is a key officer role that will focus on strategy, and the implementation and usage of Anaplan for financial analysis.  Additionally they will support consolidated reporting and lead daily/ weekly forecast updates for the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the consolidation and analysis of results and reporting, including presentation to senior management and leading the production of high-quality analysis.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
  • Interact with business unit finance leads and subject matter experts to facilitate the production of the company’s annual financial plan.
  • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with the Anaplan Center of Excellence to enhance end-user functionality and improve processes related to reporting, planning, and forecasting. 
  • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Identifies and directs strategic process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Directs/executes approved strategy decisions and contributes to strategy creation for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides strategic direction to build and enhance the capability for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

What we’re looking for

Must-Haves

  • 10+ Years experience in Financial Analysis that directly aligns to the specific responsibilities for this role.
  • 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Anaplan or another EPM tool, either as an end user or preferably as a model builder. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership experience with the ability to influence management/critical stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.

The pay range for this position is $125,800 - $229,100 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licens
