You will be in the driver’s seat to design and implement the Digital Pathology solutions together with our customers and enable cancer diagnosis to be done more effectively, of higher quality and as a result better patient care.
The Philips Digital Pathology Solutions (PDPS) business started in 2007 and has doubled in size each year since. It is now a business with worldwide presence (US, Europe, Asia) for total digital pathology solutions encompassing Ultra-Fast scanners for microscope tissue slides, a pathology Image Management System and several disease specific (mostly for cancer types) computer assisted detection (CAD) solutions. The business leverages the total Philips strengths and capabilities (brand, channels & technology) and has obtained a dominant market position.
In a world with increasing challenges for cancer diagnostic procedures and quality of patient care we want to be number one in empowering pathologists with digital pathology solutions so their expertise is supported by the best scanners, Image Management System, workflow and CAD/CDS solutions available.
Your Role:
As a Clinical Application Specialist – Digital & Computational Pathology, you will participate in various activities related to pre-sales support including demonstrations and presentations of the solution, implementation, end user training and post go-live support
- Serve in a consultative role, through pre-sales, solution design, delivery, implementation, and service to provide customer a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Philips solutions
- Support tradeshow activities, attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure
- Provide feedback and voice of customer, to the product and engineering teams for the Philips Digital Pathology solutions
- Analyzes the customer’s existing workflow and facilitates proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensures proper testing of the system and establishes a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer
- Conduct current and future state workflow analysis and design for prospective customers, Configure the Philips Digital Pathology application to meet the workflow requirements of customers during implementation
You're the right fit if you have the following:
- A min of 3 years lab experience/ in-depth knowledge of the workings of a pathology lab desired
- Previous experience with digital pathology workflows/implementation either as a vendor or a lab resource is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build/manage relationships, and interact professionally with partners, Philips management, peers and non-team members
- Proven leadership, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking
- Strong presentation skills and the confidence to share our solutions with key stakeholders from the lab to C-level executives
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of employment time

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + annual incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $112,200 to $158,400 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
