What You Will Do:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our Health Data Science team. This role will focus on claims analytics, data integration and pipelining, and advanced statistical modeling for a variety of federal healthcare programs. The role will be hands on in writing software and analyzing reports using healthcare data such as  ICD-10, DRG, and CPT code sets.

What You Will Need:

• US Citizenship Required

• Bachelor’s degree is required

• Minimum THREE (3) years experience with health data standards and commercial datasets, such as ICD-10, DRG, CPT, claims, encounters, risk scoring, and HEDIS measures

• Minimum THREE (3) years experience in developing analytics using Python or R, working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), and creating data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or an equivalent technology.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience with business intelligence tools for data visualizations such as Power BI or Amazon QuickSight

• Experience in enterprise-scale data product development, including cloud platforms, Palantir Foundry, Spark, big data ML systems, advanced analytics, and generative AI

• Experience using collaboration and development tools such as Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Git, and Jenkins

• Experience in consulting or other client facing roles.

• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including payment cycles, payment integrity, and payment accuracy, as well as public health initiatives in surveillance and informatics

• Advanced Degree (i.e., M.S./M.A.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or similar quantitative discipline.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
