Clinical Supervisor – Child & Family Outpatient and Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Team
Hiring Range: This position has a compensation range that spans the salary threshold for Washington State, which means that this position may be classified as either non-exempt (hourly) or exempt (salaried), depending on the candidate’s qualifications, including education, experience, and other relevant factors.
Non-Exempt (Hourly): $35.79 - $38.53 per hour
Exempt (Salaried): $80,168.40 - $ per year

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Supervisor to support our Child & Family Outpatient and Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) Team. In this role, you’ll provide supportive supervision, coaching, and clinical leadership to a dedicated team serving infants, children, youth, and their families. You will help guide service delivery, strengthen staff development, and contribute to the continued growth of IECMH-focused work in our community. Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in hiring; training, coaching, developing and evaluating qualified staff. Monitor required trainings.
• Consult with Director on a regular and on-going basis regarding all aspects of the program, including clinical and administrative procedures.
• Provide clinical supervision and reflective supervision via consultation, supervisor and direct supervision to care coordinators, therapists and certified family peer/certified youth peer supports.
• Support staff to provide individual therapy, family therapy and groups.
• Train and coach to ensure services are delivered in keeping with Child & Family treatment philosophy and values; work with other Child & Family Supervisors to ensure consistency across programs.
• Provide direct service hours as indicated, including outreach services in the community and client homes.
• Conduct regular and on-going clinical and clerical record reviews; ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner in accordance with Child & Family, agency, contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-site clinical support to staff as needed and coordinate staff coverage. Support staff to safely work in the community and on outreach.
• Assist in coordination of all aspects of resource management; appropriate handling of case assignment, signing treatment plans, authorization, and caseload management.
• Monitor and coach, as needed, to achieve program goals; monitor program related contracts.
• Work as integral member of KMHS supervisory team and represent KMHS positively in the community. Develop a positive working relationship with other child serving agencies in the community and establish a team approach. Provide consultation, education and training as needed to KMHS staff, school personnel and other agencies or individuals regarding clinical and program issues.
• Facilitate team meetings, consultations, clinical supervision, educational and training activities; coordinate activities with other programs.
• Collaborate with school districts to embed therapists in schools across the county.
• Assist in capacity-building and workforce development for infant and early childhood interventions
