A DAY IN THE LIFE:

This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Cloud solutions and other enterprise cloud subscriptions. Manage core services related to compute, storage, and security, while also overseeing Microsoft 365 services and hybrid infrastructure. Staying updated on platform changes, providing systems analysis, and recommending upgrades are key responsibilities. Additionally, this role includes thorough documentation of processes, procedures, and resolutions.

  • Administer and support enterprise-level cloud applications and infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
  • Oversee system access management across groups, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices for Atlassian applications.
  • Configure, maintain, and administer Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management) to support project management and collaboration.
  • Provide expert-level support for complex technical and configuration issues related to Tandem’s cloud applications, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to manage and enhance cloud security measures.
  • Keep abreast of updates, new releases, and changes to Tandem’s cloud applications and related products, ensuring the organization is always ahead of the curve.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to efficiently manage and support multiple cloud applications.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents and support requests involving cloud systems swiftly and effectively.
  • Administer cloud application user accounts, monitor service health, and manage service requests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability of Teams, SharePoint, and other O365 services.
  • Assist in creating and enforcing policies around the proper use of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and analysis, including audit log evaluations, system and storage utilization reports, and site usage and growth reports.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:

  • Ability to utilize new programming languages to support various initiatives.
  • Ability to train personnel and present complex ideas in a user-friendly language.
  • Knowledge and experience with Co-Pilot for enhanced productivity.
  • Ability to create detailed technical documentation, including work instructions and diagrams.
  • Production-level experience with Python and PowerShell.
  • Proficiency with the M365 Suite of Tools, including Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and their associated mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of OKTA and Microsoft identity management.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 Online groups.
  • Availability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or during change windows outside of normal business hours.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and management levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to quickly and proactively implement change initiatives, guiding others to meet evolving needs.
  • Strong ability to manage and complete deliverables on multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange, Teams, Power Automate, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerBI, Azure AD, and Active Directory.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • B.S. in Computer Science/related major or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
  • MTA (MS Azure) preferred.
  • Technical school training and certifications are also considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration of Atlassian products and Microsoft 365.
