  • Collaborate to define and execute semiconductor customized product qualification plans (similar to AEC-Q100).
  • Write mission profile documents for Kuiper’s custom silicon.
  • Work with vendors to design hardware / vector / software solutions for RF-HTOL, burn-in, and ESD testing.
  • Analyze qualification data, conduct failure analysis, and drive issue resolutions as well as address potential test gaps and correlations issues throughout the supply and manufacturing chains.
  • Conduct yield analysis and ensure robust yield and quality for new products, while maintaining aggressive time to market schedules.
  • Work with the packaging team to design qualification plans and board level reliability analyses.
  • Set limits for test plans used for pre-/post-qualification lots.
  • Define foundry process capability and reliability requirements for terrestrial and space applications.
  • Collaborate with silicon design and engineering partners to ensure that testability is properly considering during the design phase, and transition test development processes into scalable, reliable and cost effectives mass productions.
  • Interact with suppliers such as foundries and OSATs to complete engineering programs for wafer test, final test, and qualification.

Strong technical background in one or more of the following:
  • Most aspects of silicon bring up from hardware development, silicon debug, silicon design characterization, Design for Test (DfT), qualification, and release to production.
  • RF-HTOL hardware development: boards, sockets, ovens, activity vectors, etc.
  • Failure analysis techniques such as FIB, SEM, IR, and CSAM.
  • Production control processes, data interpretation/analysis, Cp/Cpk, and bench/tester correlation analysis.
  • Data analysis techniques and products such as PDF Exensio, Galaxy Examinator, and JMP.
  • Wireless electronic manufacturing, assembly and test processes, and hands on experience with failure analysis.
  • Semiconductor fab operations (e.g. WAC, OCAP, RMA) and processing (masks, implant, etch, CMP, bumping, etc.)
  • Semiconductor reliability effects such as HCI, NBTI.
  • Packaging techniques such as FCBGA, FCCSP, WLCSP, and QFN.
  • Development of automation tools using C++, JAVA, PERL or python programming languages.
