The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!

Farm-Agriculture Adventures 
August 2 to August 8, 2026 
  
HorseCapades 
August 9 to August 20, 2026 
A CNE interactive horse program, HorseCapades provides an enjoyable and free introduction to horses.  Opportunities are available for kids to learn about how a horse thinks/acts/reacts, pet a horse, guess a horse’s weight, and learn about grooming and shoeing.   
A popular feature is “HorsePower Live” which is a trick-riding show that takes place in the Horse Palace Ring twice daily. 
After August 20, elements of HorseCapades will move from the Horse Palace to the Farm in the Better Living Centre.   
  
Kids AgVenture 
August 21 to September 7 
A huge hit at the CNE for the past several years, Kids' AgVenture; a colourful and engaging interactive area, designed for children ages three to ten years. In a journey that takes them through miniature barns, kids get to experience the life of a farm hand.
