Job Title: Merchandising Retail Associate
Pay: $22.00 an hour
Show Dates:
• Feb 22nd, 2025 - April 27, 2025
Primary responsibility
• Be assertive and have confidence selling of many products
• Be comfortable serving people
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit card, redeem coupons
• Cross-sell products and upsell new products to guests
• Resolve guests’ complaints, guiding them and providing fair resolutions
• Greet guests when entering or leaving the merchandise area
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
• Performs other duties, as required
The ideal candidate will
• Need to learn a point-of-sale system and retain information
• Be comfortable working in loud environment
• Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black pants and shoes (no logos).
• Be physically able to stand for long hours
• Understand how to provide excellent customer service and hospitality, and have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)
• Work well with others, paying attention to details while working efficiently under pressure
• Know when to get the help of a supervisor
• Availability for the entire run in the city
• Speak English – other languages are an asset
• Must obtain a Certificate of Fitness for Temporary Indoor / Outdoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F-04).
Physical Demands:
• This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours.
• May also lift up to 50lbs.
