• Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00/hr (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant.)

BSQE Overview:

BSQE (Bechtel Supplier Quality & Expediting) is a team of 450+ certified professionals that consists of Bechtel employees and employees from strategic alliances with Third Party Providers that are available worldwide for Bechtel projects. We consist of leading industry certified personnel: API, ANSI, ASME, ASNT, SPC, & AWS CWI certifications

Mission

ENSURE delivery of compliant materials & equipment on time to both Bechtel projects and clients

VERIFY manufactured equipment in accordance with the Order specifications

ASSURE that industry quality standards are achieved 

 

Objectives

ASSESS supply chain risk / supplier capability / capacity

VERIFY effective implementation of the supplier's QA/QC program and scheduled milestones

IDENTIFY non-conforming items and potential bottlenecks or challenges or during fabrication

RESOLVE non-conformance prior to delivery

Job Summary:

This position will entail visits to vendor shops and performs the activities defined by the quality surveillance assignment. Verifies that equipment or materials include defined attributes of recognized codes and standards and Bechtel procurement document requirements. Rejects material found non-conforming to procurement document requirements. Collaborates with the supplier and project supplier quality personnel to identify a course of action to achieve satisfactory disposition of disclosed non-conformances.
